A well-established Managed I.T. Services company has an immediate opening for an additional full-time Sr. Technologist with well-developed Project Management Skills. This position will require the candidate to work with customers to assess system requirements, create statements of work, develop implementation checklists and documentation, coordinate with internal and external technical resources and ensure that customers are kept up to date on project status.

This candidate will participate in design, implementation and support of customer systems. Response to critical situations after normal business hours or during weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) may be required. The position requires a high degree of organization, accountability and responsiveness.

The position involves remote work as well as on-site support of customer workstations, servers and other networking equipment. Some travel will be required. You will be required to provide your own transportation. A clean driving record as well as a valid Driver’s License is a must with proof of insurance. You must be able to pass a background check as well as drug screening test. Supported environments are primarily Windows. Certifications are a plus (Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Cisco,CompTIA, etc.).

To effectively perform the duties required, Ideal candidates will have understanding of and experience planning, implementing and supporting:

All versions of Windows Server, Small Business Server and terminal servers, Hyper-V, XP, Vista &Windows 7 and 8,10. Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office Suites,SharePoint, MS-SQL, Wireless systems, TCP/IP, routing and sub-netting,Vlans,disk-to-disk backup solutions, firewalls, routers, NAS and SAN appliances,internet connectivity including virtual private networks, various anti-virus,anti-spam, anti-spyware and web filtering applications.
