Systems Administrator 2

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Systems Administrator 2 to join our growing team in Austin. This role involves planning, implementing, and supporting a variety of client systems while ensuring projects stay on track and customers remain informed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document system requirements; create statements of work and project timelines.
• Oversee implementation checklists and coordinate with both internal teams and external vendors.
• Provide on-site and remote support for client workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
• Monitor and respond to critical issues after normal business hours or on weekends, as needed.
• Maintain clear, regular communication with clients, updating them on project progress and system status.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage processes, and lead or collaborate with technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, adapt quickly to changing needs, and pass background/drug screenings.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments, Microsoft Exchange, Office Suites, SharePoint, virtualization (Hyper-V), networking (routing/subnetting, VLANs), firewalls, and backup solutions.
• A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel locally for on-site support.
